We could produce a suitable enough book that would include one poem from every single one of our members but I feel that would be a little much. Design and style have to be taken into consideration. How many pages should it be. I think 40 at a minimum and that is front an back. What are your thoughts?

To be honest, I'm not real sure what a good number would be for something like this, however, when I worked for Threshold, a local college arts (which I'm taking part in again), we picked somewhere's between 35-45 written works. And Bayousphere, which is another arts magazine I'm volunteering with, picks about the same amount of written works. 40 May be a good rounded number, =)

40-50 seems the ideal amount, and what about actual lengths of poems? I suppose ideally they wouldn't be more than a page long each.

Hmmm.........most anthologies ask for submissions and then an editorial committee selects those deemed the most suitable .....so maybe we could approach it that way - ask the membership, or any of those interested, to submit , then have three or four admins narrow it down to the desired number, of the "best" of the selections?
